To proceed with the work you must take care to turn off the water through the special tap. This will avoid flooding your bathroom during disassembly. Convenient isn’t it?

Once this is done you have to proceed to let the residual water out of the tap. So open it and let it flow, when the water stops the hoses will be empty and we can proceed.

Retrieve your parrot wrench and unscrew the two flexible hoses that connect the tap to the hot water and cold water connections.

At this point, if your tap is equipped with a pop-up waste, use the cross screwdriver to disconnect the plug rod.

Now the tricky part of the guide. Take the socket wrench and carefully proceed to unscrew the nut that holds the old tap that you want to remove together with a ring nut.
