Air freshener

Let’s start our guide starting from an air freshener that generally covers the entire bathroom. There are many automatic dispensers on the market, but they cost a disproportionate amount of money compared to what you can do yourself.

Get a bowl or jar and pour four teaspoons of baking soda and four cups of hot water into it. Add a few drops of a scented essential oil of your choice to this water and the perfumer will be complete. All you need to do is place it at a high point in the bathroom, perhaps on top of a piece of furniture, and let it perfume the room.

When you feel that the effect is wearing off, you can retrieve the bowl and proceed with the experiment. The cost is negligible given that with a bottle of essential oil and a jar of bicarbonate, you can create dozens of perfumers.

A faster and waterless version is to use dried lavender flowers in a basket, it will perfume the room with a sweet lavender smell.

Toilet deodorizer

The toilet is definitely the main source of bad odors, but not anything that can’t be easily resolved.

Always opting for natural solutions, you can create DIY tablets to pour into the toilet from time to time and thus perfume the entire bathroom.

First put the sifted baking soda in a plastic bowl, then pour in the lemon juice and white wine vinegar.

Use a spatula to mix everything evenly to avoid lumps.

Now pour in the hydrogen peroxide or hydrogen peroxide and finally the tea tree oil.

You will have obtained a mixture to pour into a mold and let solidify. At this point you will have a sufficient number of tablets to perfume your bathroom several times.

Change the water in the toilet brush

This is an often overlooked trick, but the water that collects in the toilet brush holder can be a source of bad odors. For this reason it is recommended to change it often and clean the toilet brush well, so as to avoid bad odors in your bathroom.
