Kerasan: passion for ceramics

Civita Castellana has been the center of Italian ceramics for decades. Many realities of the best made in Italy have their roots in this small town in Lazio, from which the best ceramic products in the world originate. Among the first realities to blossom, which we will talk about in this short article, is Kerasan.

History

It was 1960 when Kerasan was born in the Viterbo area, one of the first companies in the ceramic sector that would become an international reference point.

Today Kerasan, together with the other companies in the ceramic sector, supplies the ceramics of houses throughout Italy and the best houses in the world.

For over 60 years Kerasan has been committed to producing quality products, not only for sales and market reasons, but above all for passion. This is what moves and motivates one of the largest companies in Italy, with over 14,000 square meters of industrial development and a production capacity of 1,000 pieces per day.

An enormous and complex mechanism driven by the desire of each of the employees to create products capable of being called “Made in Italy”.

Kerasan products

Quaranta Ceramiche hosts many Kerasan series on its online store. A trust that has grown over the years, thanks to perfect products envied by the world.

Each product is carefully reviewed by our staff who offer you only the best.

Among the series that have certainly dictated the line and that most represent the values of the manufacturer, we have the Flo collection. An elegant and pleasant design both to the eye and to the touch.

For those who are fond of more classic shapes, the series to choose is certainly one: Kerasan Retrò. Defined by traditional and almost vintage lines, its charm can captivate even the most contemporary and modernists.

Also available with wooden toilet seat, no detail is left to chance.

Norim technology

As we have seen for other brands in our catalog, Kerasan has also removed the famous and hated rim in its production and technological effort.

The rim, for the less experienced, is nothing more than that ceramic edge present in all traditional vases and which was used to prevent water from escaping during the drain. Today, thanks to water pressure control systems, we can say goodbye to the rim by increasing the ease of cleaning of all the jars.

This technology is called Norim, literally “no edge”.
