Indoor floor tiles in different from outdoor tiles, have a softer surface and are easier to clean. The protective varnish was developed to withstand the pressure on the surface indoors and to prevent slipping on the tile according to the standard. The most widely used standard regarding anti-slip flooring is DIN 51130 (R).
This property includes tiles of class R9 or R10. Further standards of the anti-slip coating are DIN 51097 (A + B + C), with this property the tiles belong to the class A.
Indoor floor tiles are available in different finishes. From high gloss to matt, glazed, satin, polished or partially polished.
Partly polished tiles have a semi-glossy character, meaning you do not see every footprint on the floor. For this reason, these are among the easier-care tiles because they are very easy to clean.
